in preparation for its launch.. An expanded meeting to discuss the draft project for the S solar

The Minister of Electricity, Engineer Ghassan Al-Zamil, and the Minister of Industry, Dr. Abdel-Qader Joukhadar, chaired an expanded meeting that included representatives of the Ministries of Electricity, Industry, Internal Trade, and Consumer Protection, with the aim of discussing the basic law project of the Syrian Company for the Production and Marketing   the Photovoltaic panels and Cells Limited Liability “S solaric.”

The Minister of Electricity indicated that the efforts of the Ministries of Electricity and Industry are complementary together in this project, with the necessity of having a partner from the private sector who has the flexibility to overcome obstacles and enjoys the full financial capability  with the size of the project with his ability to possess the technology necessary for the success of this work.

He affirmed that the private sector is important in implementing such projects in integration with the public sector, and this integration is the basis for success in future projects.

In turn, the Minister of Industry explained that the public sector is in his way to the private sector with a participation plan, not privatization, and that the only concern is success and the necessity today is to find an honest, guaranteed partner with a specific work methodology, and the options are open to choose the best; affirming that in the past we were able and well-equipped to implement any project, and this is what created the strong infrastructure in all sectors, but at the present time there are some restrictions imposed.

It is obvious  that the Syrian-Ukrainian company, Solaric, for the manufacture of photovoltaic panels, fully returned its ownership to the Syrian government  last year, and its importance is great as a result of the reliability  to rely on renewable energies as a source of electricity generation and to dispense  the import of these panels.
